Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with police patrol, criminal and municipal law enforcement, the maintenance of order, public protection and safety, and other basic police services.

Lateral Transfer Program Details:

Current full-time officers/deputies will be credited an amount of years equal to their prior full-time service after successful completion of field training. This credit applies to the pay scale and vacation time - it isn't applicable to sick leave accumulation or seniority. The current union contract and MOU contain the details.

  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
